What is it?
This heavyweight, handmade, extra long rolling pin is sure to please even the most discerning baker. Named after Miss Sarah McMullan, a long-time family friend of the folks at Riley/Land, this classic rolling pin has a few flourishes to set it apart like its extra long handles.
Miss Sarah loved to bake from scratch and was tall and skinny and this rolling pin is their tribute to her. Pay homage to the baker in your life with this gorgeous kitchen tool.
An heirloom-quality gift for the newly married couple, the new homeowner or anyone who loves to bake.
What’s in it for you?
Miss Sarah Heirloom Rolling Pin is handcrafted of Black Walnut, Cherry and Maple woods that have been masterfully fused and polished to a beautiful sheen, any baker - professional, casual or beginner - will cherish this for years to come.
This beautiful wooden kitchenware is crafted by a small family-owned business run by Joseph Riley Land in rural Tennessee. Each piece is handmade using a learned tradition that is handed down from father to son and spans multiple generations. The vast majority of the pieces come from locally-sourced trees, often from his parents' farm.
The Riley/Land Collection is known for their unique wooden pieces, "new family heirlooms," as Joseph is quick to call them. Riley/Land partners with One Tree Planted, an environmental charity that plants trees around the world hoping to restore damaged ecosystems.
